I finally published my website. This is something I've wanted for a long time but I never had the courage to spend my money in such a way. I'm learning that in life, sometimes we need to take risks. That's the only way we'll be able to find out the answers to all of our "what ifs."
Whether it's buying new equipment, a plane ticket or buying a domain, these are all investments into our future. As creatives, it can be scary to do things like these because there is so much uncertainty in our careers. What is one of the hardest challenges you've had to overcome in your creative journey? What are some tips that you would have wanted to know of when you were in such a place?
Spring is almost here and in NY, this means that the weather can be extremely unpredictable (climate change is of course another contributing factor). But just like Spring makes us unsure of what to wear when we go out, makes us change our plans and gives us allergies, our everyday lives consist of ongoing uncertainty. And the beautiful thing of it all is we get to experience this and grow from it. We get to be disciplined and surprised. We live and we learn.
I thank God for all of the doors He has opened. I couldn't have done anything without Him. This is only the beginning.
